Interesting how it takes a breakdown to realise we should prioritise the things that truly bring us joy. Why don't we do it from the get-go, I wonder?

This is ‘post-burnout growth’ - a big mindset shift that is possible when our implicit assumptions that we can just keep going are properly shattered. Reading stories like this might hopefully mean others don’t need to get to that point though!

Thank you for sharing that Claire. I've never heard the term post-burnout growth, but it makes sense. Also, appreciate you saying about sharing means that hopefully others don't get there as that's my goal, to be open in case it helps.

No idea. I think maybe it starts from working in environments that are pressurised to always deliver more and more output of work? Maybe it's a female guilt thing? Who knows...
